Well what a tumultuous week South Australia has experienced weather wise. Our thoughts are with those affected and we are mighty pleased to see the beautiful clear skies, calm sea and smiling faces today at Henley Beach. With the possibility of more rain heading our way we hope you find a moment to enjoy today’s beautiful spring conditions. Spring adds new life and new beauty to all that is. Happy Weekend!
Good luck to those participating in the

Week 2 - 23/9/16
Still no sign of spring this week, but that hasn't slowed the activity around Henley Square this week as it prepares for 'Art on Main' which will take place tomorrow, Saturday 24th September from 10:30am to 2:00pm. This is an exciting initiative supported by the City of Charles Sturt Council whereby Main Street will be getting a new artwork. The art is a Rangoli which is being painted by local artist Meredith Russell. This form of art originated from India and is said to welcome people and bring good luck and good fortune into a place. Let's hope it brings sunshine and happiness too. So to celebrate the occasion, the Main Street traders and the Council are hosting a painting party and we'd love to see a great crowd at Henley to witness the art being painted live. There will be kids' art activities, music and a bouncy castle. So please get behind this great event, and share our excitement as we watch the art evolve.
